Saturday, January 6, 2018 - Deep garnet color. Aroma of cassis, new leather and wood. Flavor is balanced between cassis syrup, black cherry skin, fresh leather, brown sugar and light oak. Finish is elegant and long. Forget what they say about a light year, I think too many people expect super fruit forward, over extracted wines. At 7 years old this is at its peak. Elegant and balanced.
