Sunday, July 6, 2014 - (Patio dinner w/H, M and The Kens) I think I heard one of us say "scrumptious." It is. Clearly not even close to mature, this was almost black in the glass with a viscous robe and still restrained aromatics. But over the course of a two-hour dinner, deep dark berries, frothy espresso and peppery notes emerged with some luscious fruit providing the framework. Tannins provide a velvety texture. Dark fruits and some tobacco notes in the finish. This can only get better.
