Likes this wine:

Friday, July 25, 2014 - Clear, pale gold in the glass.

The nose is fresh with rather neutral fruit. Apple and pear are really the only dominant characteristics. In the past this wine (after opening up) has been much richer with a honey and lees overtone and a subtle floral complexity. It just truly wasn't this wine's day to be open.

The palate was much rounder than the nose showing well developed texture and a nuanced spice. Bracing acidity challenges the delicate creaminess balancing the whole act. The finish is quick to dissipate.

A very mute bottle indeed - not corked but certainly not showing its true self. On it's best day: 90-91. Today: 85-86
