Thursday, July 2, 2015 - Went against my better judgement and popped one open. Even after a 5-hour decant, the tannins shut this one down on the palate. Currently reveals tart cherry, macerated berries, and a hint of menthol. Savory notes are minimal at this point. Excellent wine that needs at least five more years in the cellar.
