Thursday, August 20, 1998 - Dark red color. Medium nose of red fruits, herbs, and pepper. Very nicely extracted. Good fresh fruit and tons of oak, but the oak is reasonably integrated. Very peppery. Nice lingering finish. Wonderful Zin, which seems a good candidate for short term cellaring.
