Saturday, June 2, 2012 - A deep purple to red hue , the nose is packed full of aromas that range from licorice to floral blackberry and even green olive, it's amazing to think you can get such a mix of different, yet complementing characters from the one glass.

There are layers of sweet berry fruits initially that slowly change gear to a more savoury mode that is backed by dark fruits and spices , the wine finishes with considered oak and superb length.

This wine is an excellent example of what can be done with Shiraz from the Frankland River region, when great fruit is in the hands of an excellent wine maker.
