Saturday, December 31, 2016 - A bit of brown peeking through the magenta. Mushrooms, earth and wooden nose. Medium bodied, a fair amount of sediment, then...fresh red cherries, herbs, fully resolved tannins, a bit of leather, and a medium to long semi-sweet finish. Excellent once the funk blew off; this had many years left to go.
