Friday, January 2, 2015 - This wine is beautiful - softly floral, great baked bread characteristic and excellent balance. The nose: sweet cherry, floral red apple, young toasted oak, hints of menthol and marshmallow. The taste: tart raspberry, soft cherry/tart cherry, red apple. The texture is burrata w/ obvious hints of malo / lees stirring. Smooth and supple - no hit from alcohol or acid. Great balance. I was hesitant to open this too early but gave it an hour decant and was wonderful. Outstanding wine. Wish I could get more.
