Wednesday, December 2, 2015 - Nose was a bit stunted after first pouring from the coravin but still had nice, funky, earthy notes of fall leaves and forest floor. The nose opened up dramatically over the next hour, giving off a perfumed, floral bouquet, with hints of plum, game, and spice. Tannins are still firm but not overpowering. Palate hits you with slightly under-ripe cherry, plum, leather, and pepper.
