Monday, July 12, 2021 - Brought down to cellar temperature and then decanted for two hours. The nose is extremely subtle but has very clear Zinfandel notes of chocolate, earth and rustic red fruits. Really not that full-bodied on the palate and this didn’t stand up well to a fairly mild spaghetti bolognese. Without food this has a light, contemplative finish. Not bad, but expected some more depth and complexity.
