Thursday, September 12, 2013 - A big wine. Dark inky color. Full on dark fruit and mineral on the nose. Rich and deep palate. Big on fruit. Bold but nicely woven tannins. Big on mineral. Good acidity. Long finish and fairly balanced, but with an earthy richness that has to be terrior driven; dell'irpinia (Tari) literally means "the soil that is thrown down". It taste like there is a volcano inside.
