Friday, April 9, 2010 - Opened and decanted for about an hour+. Very dark wine. A couple of people thought there might be some syrah in the wine. Nonetheless, wine had some fabulous aromatics -- strawberry, rhubarb, roses, cinnamon like spice. More of the red berry notes on the palate, very fine tannins. It was powerful yet sleek and elegant. I'll try to hold off from opening any more bottles but so hard to resist.
