Monday, December 5, 2011 - As recommended by the winery, I gave this 1+ hours of air. On day 1, it showed dark berries that took on some chocolate and raspberry notes with air. Nice fruit on the nose and mouth that lead to smooth tannins. It was not as big and sweet as I was expecting. On day 2, I was disappointed as it just showed ripe licorice and leather notes. I like those notes but as complimentary notes.
