Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - Bill's. Quoting Theodor's CT review: this has arrived at maturity with all pieces intact. Aromatics billow from the glass and the texture is silken and full bodied." Dark purple red color, with black raspberry and Fig Newton fruit, orange peel, cinnamon and anise seed. An outstanding showing. Cool bottle too: it was from the seconed to last vintage shipped in barrel to London and bottled there--no label, just a wax seal with 'Fonseca 1963' pressed into it. A very special experience.
