Sunday, March 29, 2015 - Nice Santa Lucia Pinot. I find Pinots from The Santa Lucia Highlands to be usually on the heavier side. That is the case for this one. Lots of earthy, bitter cedar, leather and very dark cherry notes. Licorice, pepper, coffee. some tart acidity at the end. Paired very nice with Grouper and Mushrooms.
