Sunday, December 24, 2023 - Note from Day 2. Beautiful nose showing classic Pinot notes of spice. In the mouth, the wine gives a wonderful lushness, with a long finish of complex red fruit, and encroaching tertiary notes of umani. This wine is simultaneously full bodied and delicate. A great bottle. Purchased at Et Fille tasting room in Newberg. Wish I had bought more. Not inexpensive (US $80) but would compete with Burgundies selling for double the price. Yet another indication of Oregon's place in making world class Pinot Noirs.
