Wednesday, March 19, 2014 - Opened and drank over about three hours. A bit of moldiness on the nose, followed by a bit of dark fruit, I could get fig too, but maybe that is power of suggestion...the nose was edging toward non-descript. A bit of bitterness on the palate and a little bit of sharp acidity, but a pleasant medium-bodied wine to drink. Not a terribly long finish and just a hint of slightly chalky tannins.
