Saturday, April 25, 2015 - medium depth red/garnet, slight violet hue, clear and even. reasonably mild nose, some black fruits, blueberry and vanilla. very smooth and balanced palate, well polished medium structure, comfortable oak flavours underlying. very enjoyable now, though has more potential of developing. medium+ finish with moderate cream and chocolate notes.

elegant and flawless. a wonderful wine for Anzac Day when you know the story about TSS Awatea. lest we forget.
