Thursday, April 30, 2015 - The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of red fruit (tomato), black fruit (ripe blackberries, ripe dark plums), herbaceous (tomato leaf) and hints of pungent spices (black pepper).

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(-) acidity. It has medium(+) rounded ripe tannins and a medium(+) alcohol. It has a medium(+) body and medium(+) intensity flavours of red fruit (tomato), black fruit (ripe blackberries, ripe dark plums), herbaceous (tomato leaf) and hints of pungent spices (black pepper). The finish is medium(+).

It is a very good quality wine. It has concentrated flavours in balance with the alcohol and tannins and a persistent finish. On the other hand it could be more complex.

Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and fruit concentration to be kept for 1-2 years more, albeit it is unlikely to develop much more complexity.
