Friday, April 25, 2014 - This is a wine that is made in a beaujolais style, with no oak and designed to be consumed in it's youth. This wine is made from Pinot Noir and certainly gives a fair nod to France.
A light ruby red in colour, the nose has a meatiness to go along with stewed cherry, the palate is briny and leathery with an abundance of tannin, taught acid and drying dark cherry fruit that leads to a grainy, but persistent finish.
