Friday, February 26, 2010 - Still one of the first '03s I have tasted. I was a little surprised by the color--most notably how light it was at the edge of the glass. I didn't detect a lot of heat or alcohol on the nose. I actually thought the nose had a great balance of sweetness. Not as leathery as some prior vintages I have had. Maybe more cherries and Merlot this time. Surprisingly good given the guarded professional reviews. I'm not selling any more of these.
