Saturday, January 5, 2019 - This is a very dense/tight wine. Deep black fruit, spice, floral, wood profile. There is acidity but the wine is not balanced. Astringent finish. Can’t figure it out. This profile is not what I want in an Oregon wine. Too much extraction. Trying to be a CA Pinot when it shouldn’t.
