Sunday, September 11, 2011 - I've never tasted a wine like this, where the aromas are so different than the flavours. On the nose you expect almost a sweet wine, with honey, lychees, quince jelly, citric fruits and freshness. But on the palate you find high acidity (remember, it´s a 94 vintage), salty notes, peach, grapefruit, some creaminess and mineral notes as the temperature raises.
Really complex and surprising, and curiously with less mineral notes than expected.
