Tuesday, December 9, 2014 - Just got to spend a second with this, and this is definitely one of the wines that I wish I could have sat with for a while (along with the 90 Rousseau and the 91 Monte Bello.) The nose was mature and powerful - creme brulee, honey, baking spices, florals - honeysuckle, paraffin, minerals. On the palate this is huge and rich, yet so focused and driven - brulee, spices and honeysuckle. Just staggering. 18/20.
