Saturday, April 20, 2019 - Wax topping to bottle pretty messy to open. Orange brown amber colour. Sweet and mellow nose. Brilliant match for Roquefort. Gentler than a Madeira but similar brown sugar hints. Mouth filling, lingering dry fruit raisiny mix, hintsof fig. Sweet but not sticky, good balancing acidity. Works at a number of different levels more complex than a Muscat but less to it than a vintage port. Good value.
