Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Raisins on the nose. On the palate, figs, raisins, apricot, molasses, and brown sugar, with a long finish and significant sweetness to balance some rather rough acidity on the finish. This was excellent, and it has the complexity of a superior dessert wine, but it isn't smooth enough to be really outstanding. Even so, it's a good deal at the price (under $40 for 375 ml).
