Sunday, June 25, 2023 - This was stunningly good wine. It was drunk alongside a 1961 DRC Richebourg, which sadly had faded past its prime. This wine was exuberant and even seemed somewhat youthful. This is a big, rich wine. No detailed notes were taken, but I recall that the nose had beautiful dark cherry and strawberry notes, and lovely spiciness. The palate was rich, with nice fruit and a remarkably long finish.
