Wednesday, April 9, 2014 - West of West Wine Festival (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Best white of the day. Outstanding presence in the glass. Aromatics were soaring and this was just THE Burgundy lover's Sonoma Chardonnay.
So much lime stone. Lemon tart, lime zest, honey dew. Citrus flavors galore. The mineral elements are present and the mid palate is unusually rich while the finish is acidic and buoyant. Awesome. Get this.
