Friday, April 24, 2015 - 2012 Simon Bize Wines (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Medium red. Also attractive cherry fruit, here mixed with some game and anise. Medium weight, clean and supple, good acidity and round tannins. This lacks the brambly bite of classic young Savigny but is very good. Another surprise given my mind's eye view of Bize wines.
