Friday, December 8, 2017 - More classic Rhône in this bottle. Perhaps the extra year did the trick. Deeper briars fruit anda little smokiness. Central tannin and border acidity provides structure, balance and length. An update: I sealed the bottle for a day and it had degraded noticeably. Tones of oxidation were evident which is surprising. Drink in one evening.
