Likes this wine:

Thursday, February 17, 2022 - 14.5% alcohol. G 80%, Mrvdr 20% (in the vineyard). Short cork, but very dense and showing no wine penetration. The colour is dark with no sign of ageing.
The nose has olives at first, followed by liquorice, redcurrant coulis, and a pleasant pharmaceutical note. Very vivid in the mouth with superb wild berries and an invigorating acidity in the finish. The alcohol level is perceptible only through its secondary effects (as in do not drive afterwards); otherwise a balanced wine without any excess of opulence.
In excellent condition.
I don't think that I have ever been disappointed by a bottle of Montirius of any denomination; individual winemaking of outstanding quality.
