Wednesday, August 12, 2020 - Delightful: “What the doctor ordered,” as my wife noted, A perfect summer Burgundy with some grilled poultry. And so ready just now. A first greeting with light ruby, very typical high-end Beaune characteristics, and on the palate, high-toned bright red fruit, a pretty cherry-led nose, full acid-balance; and plenty on the palate of cherry, raspberry and smoky earth. No decant needed, though we did for 30 minutes.
