Saturday, March 12, 2011 - BYO'd to a restaurant which was pretty dark, so no comments on color. No decant and a bit closed at first, but w/ two glasses poured, and allowed to sit and open for an hour it opened up quite nicely when we got back around to it. Dark cherry, some interesting spice, this is a fairly big wine w/ a strong finish - no heat, good balance even elegance for its size. Didn't seem to be going downhill to me, but definitely ready to go. I have 2 more - drink over the next year or so.
