Sunday, April 26, 2020 - My first Madeira. Reminiscent of port up front with some fig, raisin qualities and mild sweetness... and then the acid which cuts it off, drys the mouth and leaves you wanting more. Took me a couple of sips to really appreciate it but it went perfectly with the custard and fresh fruit tart for dessert.
