Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - 2010 Barolos at Terra Rossa with NLWTS (Terra Rossa, Upper Street): Dark ruby. Pronounced nose; sweetly spiced… star anise? Blue cheese?! Real depth beyond pure red fruit. Tiny bit warm; tannins still v serious; only likely to get better. Other end of the table thought that there was something slightly wrong with this - as it's my first bottle of Burlotto Monvigliero I have no idea! 92++
