Thursday, April 16, 2015 - I've been using the word "floral" wrong, because nothing even comes close to this. Such an enticing nose, full of rose petals (I think - who knows), red sour berries and a hint of olives. Perfumed is a good word. Quality of fruit is sublime and the balance is spot on. The finish is long and dominated by dark berries, with a touch of licorice.

4/17/2015 5:43:00 AM - This is a wonderful note. I love the floral quality in Barolo more than anything else. I'm so happy with the 2010 Baroli so far, and I'm glad that the Burlotto is so beautiful.
