I had a recollection this used to be a brute of a style; this is quite polished. Sweet strawberry and chocolate nose. Lots of rich mid-palate fruit. Medium oak, medium acid; it’s medium/full-bodied, ripe but not over the top. The name’s a bit out of character really.
