The fruit character on the palate has evolved away from the primary concentrated tropical character of young Alpine (e.g., pineapple) to a more relaxed expression, with pear and peach predominant, livened by harmoniously integrated but still snappy acidity. The finish grips the middle palate impressively as its flavors echo the aromas.
