Saturday, July 8, 2017 - Vibrant yellow in color. Lemon and citrus flavors initially masked by charred oak, which eventually subsided to allow the fruit to show through. Good acidity in both iterations keeps it racy. The wine was much improved in later pours when the oak integrated rather than overwhelming the wine; the score is based on the later and better (to my taste) pours.
