Sunday, January 24, 2016 - Allowed to breathe in bottle 30 minutes, then tasted over three hours to follow its progression without decanting. Initial light-medium ruby-brick red, gaining a deeper darker red tint after the first hour. Beautiful bouquet of red cherries and mixed red berries, earth, spice box, with hints of black truffles, juniper berries, pine resin, and clean barnyard. Smooth and balanced on the palate, bright and fresh, pleasantly tart, delicious.
