Saturday, May 21, 2016 - A decent Chardonnay that is a bit over-priced for what it delivers. Light yellow in color, medium in body, muted nose, with hints of flowers and saline. Tastes of lemon, grapefruit, and vanilla, with a sour finish. 14% alcohol. Tasting more like Russian River Valley (i.e., plush) than Sonoma Coast (i.e., crisp), this wine did not live up to the hype (from Forbes), though it is still well-made. Improves with air.
