Thursday, July 2, 2015 - Love put a gun to my head and affectionately suggested the right thing to do was to share this wine with my wife. I did and she enjoyed her half of the bottle also. But the next time she leaves town for the birth of a grandchild or a funeral, other than my own, I'm opening the second bottle and going to the bottom alone. But isn't a trip to the bottom of anything a trip taken alone? Good wine always brings saddness with the joy. But a whole bottle is twice the joy and that might be the best we can hope for. Drink it if you have; it's good.
