Monday, December 21, 2020 - During an exuberant wash down the 2020 Covid year with some good Bordeaux Lunch&Dinner. Offered by the generous host, auction bottle. Well you never know post Rudy what is in these Unicorn bottles. Glad to see that the cork was for real, properly soaked and the nose was right of the bat very Latour-esque with wet forest floor, mineralic elements, pine, peat, licorice. Elegant palate, strict tannins with ripe fruit to support it, excellent balance, Very grand! If this was a fake, it was at least filled with top class Claret, that is for sure. 99-100
