Thursday, June 22, 2006 - Tasted at the domaine. Following the 2004 Chapelle-Chambertin, the Clos de la Roche was earthier, with a deeper nose, and, again the baking spices and red fruit that were present in the other '04s from Ponsot. A note of caramel. Solid acid / structure. Balanced. Very nice.
