Saturday, July 30, 2016 - Decanted for just over an hour before tasting. Medium purple core, pink rim. Tart cherries, cranberries, floral perfume, dry soil and spices on the nose and palate. Medium bodied, good depth, firm structure – high quality stuff, but bordering excessively acidic, thus requiring food to show its best. Most likely still a little early – I’ll let my last bottle sleep for another three to four years and hope for improved balance (91-92 points).
