Wednesday, August 29, 2012 - Dark red core, lighter at the rim. Forward nose, black and ed berries, cherries, leather, earth and spice. Ripe rich fruit, blackberries, smooth lush palate feel, full bodied, good balance leaning more toward fruit than acid, mellow tannins, nice funky/earthy complexity, long sweet finish. Very similar to the last bottle 3 years ago but with a little added earthy complexity. Outstanding, should last another decade.
