Wednesday, November 20, 2013 - Chateauneuf-Du Pape, The 1998 Vintage, A 15 Year Retrospective: Darkest in color of the 8 1998s with a fresh but somewhat closed earthy nose. Lighter bodied than many of the others (but lighter than Bonneaus Speciale and Secret de Sabon isn't saying much) but a nice array of dark fruit flavors. Group's #2 and my #5.
