Thursday, January 31, 2019 - A definite step up from prior cabs, where ive been a bit disappointed in the lack of fruit/balance in other vintages. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. More aroma and a more flavor than previous lark cabs. Nice depth to the flavor across the midpalate. Tannins are softening but there is enough structure here for years. Decided a few years back to give my larkmeads more age and if this is any indication, that was a good decision.
