90 Points

Saturday, August 15, 2020 - Lost the alcohol that was dominant in 2019 when I tasted this so that was good. Fruit still good but tannins have softened a lot. Typical Cab nose. Lots of spice, chocolate and currants. Tannins became more present in the 2nd half of the bottle but still soft. Decanted 90 minutes. Probably only needs 30 minutes. Thought this bottle was just average and not really worth the $89 paid. QPR isn’t good IMO. Fairly one dimensional. Some layers of flavors but I expect much more at this price point. Probably not a wine I would seek out or buy again because of the price point.
