Saturday, May 16, 2015 - A beautiful Bordeaux blend that is great now and will only get better with time. Nose of chocolate, licorice, and sage; inky red in color; medium in body. Tastes of black cherry, blackberry, pepper, graphite, and cedar, with a dusty yet smooth finish. 14.8% alcohol. Surprisingly approachable now (more so than the 2012 Firebelle, which was more tannic than this wine). 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc. Just a beautiful wine.
